On a  cold, snowy Januray night in 1997 upon arriving home late, I decided it best to snowblow my driveway. I mistakenly got too close to the ditch and slid sideways. The tractor would go ahead and would go backwards but darn I could not get out of that DITCH. What to do as it was 11:00 pm? I called my good neighbour Sheldon for help and he arrived almost immediately to rescue me. Job complete, Sheldon smiled to me and returned home! I will miss Sheldon as he was one of those true and great Monteagle folks.
