William Charles (Bill) McCaw passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, at Quinte Healthcare North Hastings on Friday, January 26, 2024 at the age of 77 following a very difficult struggle with COPD. Bill McCaw, beloved husband and best friend of Bev, loving father of Steven of Bancroft and Krista & Brad Tatem of Bermuda, loving grandfather of Connor, Ellie, Gray and Zachary and beloved brother of Doug & Linda McCaw of Peterborough and Jane & Wayne Robbins of Oshawa. He was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Muriel (Ruckstuhl) McCaw. Bill will be lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews and by his many cousins and friends. Bill was born in Belleville, grew up in Coe Hill and has lived in the Coe Hill and Bancroft areas most of his life. He was employed as a civil engineering technician for over 28 years. Bill will be remembered as an amazing hockey and baseball player and enjoyed many fun weekends travelling to hockey tournaments with the IGA Oldtimers. He attained his black belt in both Karate and Jujitsu and loved his motorcycles and music. Bill, may you now take every breath without struggle and angst and may you rest in peace.
