Vera Irene (Grant) Shatraw passed away unexpectedly at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Friday, September 29, 2023 at the age of 86. Vera Shatraw, beloved wife of Floyd, loving mother of Mary (& Eugene) Spence, Debbie (& Glen) Lyman, Jim (& Diane) Shatraw and Darlene (& Gary) Lockwood, all of Paudash, cherished grandmother of seven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren and dear sister of Emerson Grant of Paudash, Barbara Casselman of Maynooth, Lyla Dodd of Maynooth and the late Willard, Roy, June, Helen, Myrtle and Andy. Vera was born in McGarry and has lived all of her life at McGarry and Paudash. Her love of animals will live on in the memories of all who knew her and she will be deeply missed by her pets: Elsa, Muffin, Timmy-TuTu and Emma.
