Thomas Edward Farthing passed away at Hastings Centennial Manor on Friday, June 30, 2023 at the age of 89. Tom Farthing, beloved husband of Gwen (Bartlett), loving father of Dawn (& Martin) Potter of Kempville and Laurel (& Bryce) Robinson of Monteagle, cherished grandfather of Seth, Shemia (& Chad), Atira, Jude, Nava and Aaron, great grandfather of Miles and dear brother of Susan Farthing of the U.S.A. and Jack (& Donna) Farthing of Peterborough. Tom and Gwen moved to Bancroft in 1972 where they owned and operated their own resort for many years and Tom also drove school bus. They raised their family here and have been long time members of the Bancroft Bible Chapel.
