Stanley John (Jack) Hogarth passed away at Lakefield Extendicare on Sunday, April 21, 2024 at the age of 94. Jack Hogarth, beloved husband of the late Shirley (Creighton) Hogarth, loving father of Karen & Mike Armstrong of Ennismore, Peggy & Leonard Murphy of Peterborough and Scott & Cindy of Midland, cherished grandfather of Lesley, Alexandra and Caroline and great grandfather of Ruby and Hannah. Jack will be fondly remembered by his brother Clifford of Buckhorn, by his sister in law, Jean Fitzgerald of Bancroft and by his many nieces and nephews and friends. Jack was predeceased by his siblings, Andy, Harold, Jean, Pearl, George, Helen and Don. Jack was born in Peterborough and relocated to Bancroft when he became employed with Ontario Hydro, a career which spanned over 37 years. He and Shirley made their home and raised their family here. After retirement, they moved to Baptiste Lake where they enjoyed many happy years. Jack will be remembered for his love of hunting, fishing, travelling, music and curling to name a few of his interests. He is once again reunited with Shirley, who he missed very much.
