Shirley (Creighton) Hogarth passed away at Hastings Centennial Manor on February 14, 2022 following a lengthy illness at the age of 89. Shirley Hogarth, beloved wife of Jack, loving mother of Karen & Mike Armstrong of Ennismore, Peggy & Leonard Murphy of PEterborough and Scott & Kelley of Barrie, loving grandmother of Lesley, Alexandra and Caroline and great grandmother of Ruby and Hannah and dear sister of Jean Fitzgerald of Bancroft. Shirley was predeceased by her siblings, Don Creighton and Joyce Snider and by her parents, Russell Thomas Creighton and Maria Magdalena Vangheleuwe. Shirley lived all of her life in Bancroft and at Baptiste Lake. She taught school for over 35 years and will be remembered for her love of travelling, curling, boating and fishing. Shirley taught many students during her career leaving many fond memories behind. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be welcomed by the family.
