Peacefully, in her sleep, at Hastings Centennial Manor on Tuesday, January 24th, Shirley Burchat, age 84. Predeceased by her husband Arthur Burchat. Loving mother to Brenda (& Terry) Rallison, Benny Carroll, and Pat Burchat. Loving grandmother to Philip, Erica (Chad), Tara (Tim), Kelly (Steve), Matthew (Ali), Jen (Christopher). Cherished Gigi to Weston, Emersyn, Lauren, Ainsley, and Mackenzie. Great Grandmother to Michael, Madeline, Bradley, and Matthew. Shirley was very involved in the Legion branch 181 in Bancroft and enjoyed playing darts, sewing and quilting. Special thanks to the staff at Hastings Centennial Manor. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada or VON Adult Day Program in Bancroft.
