It is with profound sadness that we say goodbye to our wonderful mother, Ruth Joan Bossi, born
December 8, 1928, who passed away at the age of 93 on July 22, 2022. Predeceased by her husband
Raymond Bossi on May 25, 2010. Sadly missed and loved by her children Lawrence, Kenneth (Erica),
Joanne (Peter) and Norma (David). Lovingly remembered for her kindness and spirit by grandchildren
Tawnya (Chris), Carolyn (Mattie), Kristopher (Leah), Alexandra (Josh), Kassandra, Katherine, Andrew
and Sarah (Craig). Missed by great grandchildren Emmet, Tait, Adelaide, Juniper and Bowen, Riley and
Logan, Taylor and Brooke and great great grandchild Raelynn. Ruth will be sadly missed by all her
relatives and friends.
After many years of working at IBM Ruth retired to enjoy her family and the cottage. Ruth was an avid
reader, knitter, and a devoted bridge and euchre player. She enjoyed doing puzzles and making stained
glass pieces for her family. As a community volunteer, she raised funds for several organizations in the
Bancroft area. She enjoyed time playing bingo and line dancing with the Shamrock Line Dancers. Mom
brought a lot of joy and happiness to all those she touched.
In keeping with her wishes cremation will take place, followed by a private ceremony with her immediate
family. A Memorial Celebration of Life will be planned. The family requests in lieu of flowers donations
can be made to a charity of your choice. Condolences can be posted on the Neuman Funeral Home’s
website, Bancroft, Ontario.
