Philip John Clarence (Phil) Exton passed away peacefully at Westgate Lodge in Belleville on November 13, 2023 at the age of 85. Phil Exton, beloved husband of Wilma (Rutledge) Exton of Bancroft, dear father of Joseph (& Christy) Garnsey of Michigan, grandfather of Jessica, Donald and Saxon and great grandfather of Tatam and Mason, dear stepfather of Jarrett (& Dannielle) Switzer of Bancroft and Jamie (& Lisa) Switzer of Barrie, grandfather of Kurtis, Willow and Hazel and brother of Noreen of Hanover, Ontario. Phil was predeceased by his parents Philip Exton & Isabelle Turner. He will be forever remembered and missed by many nieces, nephews and their families. Phil was always working away at something. He was forever cleaning and he liked things neat and tidy. He enjoyed landscaping, doing artwork and music.
