Marlene Sweet (nee Watson) passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on August 28, 2023, at Haliburton Hospital, in her 79th year. Beloved wife of the late Stanley Sweet. Loving mother of Linda Sardinha of Kingston, Murray (Malene) of Orangeville and Marsha of Highland Grove. Cherished grandmother of Harley (Fraser), Anthony (Brittany) and great-grandmother of Macie and Amelia. She will be sadly missed by her dear sister Joyce, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Marlene was predeceased by her parents, Elmer and Fay Watson and by her sister, Susan Mitchell.


In lieu of flowers, Marlene requested that any donations be directed to the Highlands East Food Hub (Wilberforce Food Bank).
