The shock is slowly dissipating but no one was prepared for the sudden passing of our beloved mother, Marjorie (Lavalley) Holmberg. Marjorie, beloved wife of the late Doug Holmberg, loving mother of Shelley Holmberg (& Kenneth Groomes) of Guelph, Jodi (& Kirk) Cameron of Kingston and Adam Holmberg of Whitney, cherished grandma of Mia and Mason and dear sister of Raymond (& Marlene) Lavalley of Lake St. Peter, Dorothy Groomes of Huntsville, Tom (& Linda) Lavalley of Oshawa, Jack (& Sharon) Lavalley of Carleton Place, Ursula Lavalley of Huntsville, Phillip (& Yvonne) Lavalley of Sabine, Hilda (& Harry) Scott of Sabine, Jeff (& Janice) Lavalley of Peterborough and the late Greg. Marjorie will be lovingly remembered by Doug's siblings: Ralph & Esther, Clinton & Phyllis, Dick & Millie, by her sister in law, Norma and by her best friends, Rick & Bev Etmanski and by her many nieces, nephews and friends. Marjorie will be long remembered for her love of singing, playing the guitar and entertaining, cooking, gardening, hunting, feeding the multitudes and much more. She will be forever missed by all who knew her.
