Marie Evans passed away peacefully at Haliburton Extendicare following a difficult illness on February 2, 2023 at the age of 85. Marie Evans, beloved wife of the late Jim Evans and the late Joe Palmer, loving mother of Beatrice of Bancroft, Kenny of Huntsville, Annie of Peace River, Alberta, Linda Mae of Pembroke, Jamie of Wilberforce and Gordon of Huntsville. Marie will be lovingly remembered by her many grandchildren and their families. She was predeceased by her parents, Gordon Godfrey and Nellie Shatraw and by all of her siblings.
