Kevin Lyle Young passed away peacefully at Hastings Centennial Manor on Sunday, January 28, 2024 at the age of 67 following a lengthy illness. Kevin Young, beloved father of Royce & Kristin of Oshawa and Ian & Jenn of Bancroft, loving grandfather of Otto, Keegan, Hailey, Maidyn and James and dear brother of Sharon & Cameron Dillabough of Bancroft, Bonnie & Fred Bruce of Bethany, Wayne & Judy Young of Vankleek Hill, Teresa Young of Oshawa and Rhonda & Ron Baldwin of Coe Hill. Kevin will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews and the many members of his extended family. Kevin was born in Toronto, the son of the late George & Marguerite (Hannah) Young and spent the majority of his working career at General Motors Automotive Plant in Oshawa. Following retirement, Kevin enjoyed his hobbies of woodworking, watching the Toronto Maple Leafs, fishing and hunting.
