Kenneth Douglas Bruce, passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2021, after a lengthy illness. Ken Bruce was the beloved husband and best friend to his life partner Judith, loving father of Emeline & Robert Murphy of Marysville and Jennifer Elizabeth & Rob Shahi of Victoria B.C. and devoted and beloved Poppa to Lily, Amelia, Parson and Gia. Ken will also be loved and missed by his siblings Don Bruce of Belleville, Barbara Hamilton of Almonte and by his half siblings Brad Tocher of Alberta, Gary Maksymiak of Saskatchewan and their families. After retiring and moving to Gilmour from Roslin Ontario sixteen years ago, Ken & Judy enjoyed all that the Bancroft area had to offer, his love of archery, hunting & fishing, scuba diving, kayaking, riding his Harley and enjoying the outdoor trail riding, camping. Ken's love for the dobro guitar took he and Judy to many outdoor summer music festivals, where he loved to play and perform on stage for people.
