Joan (Parks) McAllister passed away at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on February 21, 2022 at the age of 78 following a lengthy illness. Joan McAllister, beloved wife of Don, loving mother of Wayne and Laura, both of Peterborough, cherished grandmother of Kristen, Aaron and Brendan and dear sister of Sandy McCaskie of Oshawa and the late Linda Yelle, Beverley Vardy, Jim Parks, Gerald Parks, Debbie Murray and Bonnie Parks. Joan was born in Birds Creek on July 30, 1943, the daughter of Edward John Parks and Martha Adele Bowers. She and Don have been residents of Peterborough for many years and attended Edmison Heights Bible Chapel there.
