Iris (Stevenson) Mullen passed away peacefully at Hastings Centennial Manor on Sunday, August 7th, 2022 following a lengthy decline at the age of 88. Iris Mullen, beloved wife of the late Mervin Mullen, loving mother of Hope (& Don) Fleming of Calgary, Dawn Anne (& Brian) Brown of Calgary, Steve (& Elizabeth) of Milk River, Alberta and the late Joy, mother in law of James Morren, cherished grandmother of Leah, Joel, Jeremy, Charlene, Kerri, Melody, Jonathan, Samuel, Charity, Destiny and the late Jesse. Iris was predeceased by her siblings: Anne Greenshields, Jim Stevenson, Doris Jeffery, Cameron Stevenson and Fern Postma. She leaves numerous nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly. Iris worked as a lab technician for a magnesium mine for a number of years. Following her relocation to Bancroft Iris was employed as a sales clerk at Sears for over 20 years. Her incredible musical talents will live on in the minds of those who knew her. She was the pianist at the Bancroft Pentecostal Tabernacle and later at the Bancroft Bible Chapel for a number of years. Iris's strong conviction revealed itself in her ability to successfully raise her four children on her own and operated her own antique business at the same time. Her struggle has finally come to its end and may she now rejoice in the presence of her Lord and Saviour.
