Condolence: Imants was a great guy, a gentleman, great conversationalist and skilled craftsman as well as having many other positive attributes.
He was also well balanced and a successful entrepreneur after having come to Canada from a very humble, challenging background in war torn Germany.
I will miss dropping into the Shed with my wife Cara and mother-in-law Mary Lipsett for our talks and a couple purchases from a place that give custom goods at assembly line prices. Our house proudly has many— substantially more than a dozen pieces of fine furniture for the Shred. Imants will be missed!
