Freida Marie (Creighton) Vardy passed away at the Heart of Hastings Hospice in Madoc on Monday, September 18, 2023 with her family by her side. Freida Vardy, beloved wife of the late Art, loving mother of Keith (& the late Beverly), Janet and Vicky & Scott, cherished grandmother of 8 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Freida is survived by her siblings, Phyllis Douglas, Bob Creighton, Linda Gaebel and Carol McCormick. She was predeceased by her siblings, Arnold, Patricia, Evelyn, Jean, Norman, Norma and Betty and by her parents, Lester Creighton and Olive Peever. Freida will be lovingly remembered by her numerous nieces and nephews. Her love of camping, reading and travelling will be remembered by those who knew her.
