Eric Allen Armstrong passed away at Hastings Centennial Manor on April 22nd, 2024 at the age of 90 following a brief illness. Eric Armstrong, dear husband of the late Laura (Stringer), loving father of Bryan & Michelle of Port Perry and Julie Rossiter of Newcastle, loving grandfather of Jesse, Taylor and Rhyse and dear brother of Gwen Davis of Monteagle and Ian & Aileen Armstrong of Bancroft. Eric was predeceased by his siblings: Lyle, Doug, Ellis, Claudia, Marie, Beverley and Shelby and by his parents, Harold & Thelma Armstrong. Eric was always very social and loved to visit with anyone who came along. Among his hobbies were woodworking, making bird houses and doing puzzles.
