Ecil Sears, son of the late Ezra & Clara (Ray) Sears, beloved husband & best friend of Doreen (Mackey) Sears, cherished father of David (& Joy) of Amherstview, Janice (& Mark) Carswell of Oshawa and Dwayne (& Tanya) of Bancroft, loving grandfather of Christena (& Cameron Montrose), Meagan Sears, Zachary (& Kristen), Jessica Carswell, Allison Carswell, Brittany (& Brent Freymond), Brooke (& Chad Wilson), Wyatt (& Casey) and Sarah (& Cameron Sager) and great grandfather of Stella, Hunter, Finnigan, Ezra and Maylyn. Ecil was predeceased by his siblings: Etta McCormick, Ella McDonald, Ethel Gaffney, Ezra (Bud) Sears, Doreen and Elsie Sears. Ecil was a hoisting engineer and spent the majority of his working years with Hardy Roadbuilders. He enjoyed spending time with his family, on the farm and his horses, travelling and attending country music jamborees with Doreen. The family would welcome donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation as expressions of sympathy.
