Clara Dorien Soanes passed away suddenly at Hastings Centennial Manor on June 22, 2023 at the age of 93. Dorien Soanes, beloved wife of the late Percy Soanes and the late Blair Hannah, loving mother of Jim Hannah of Brantford, Gordon Hannah of Peterborough, David Hannah of Stirling, Sheiron Mastine of Stirling and the late Tom and Lauraine, lovingly remembered by her grandchildren and their families and by her surviving siblings. Dorien will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. She was born in Raglan Township, the daughter of the late Leslie Robert Bruce and Iva Viola Wannamaker. Dorien resided in the Hermon and McArthurs Mills area for most of her life. Her declining health required a move to Stirling and recently back to Bancroft where she has been a resident of Hastings Centennial Manor.

In lieu of flowers the family graciously welcomes donations to the Alzheimer's Society.
