Obituary for Don "Bumpa" Neuman

Don Neuman, left us way too soon and unexpectedly in the early morning hours of March 24th, loving and doting father of Jeff & Crystal, Joel & Michelle and Kristen & Eric, very special "Bumpa" to Tyler, Heidi, Kassidy, Emma, Jorja, Sophia, Carter and Cass. Don is lovingly remembered by his siblings: Delmer & Jean, Janice (& the late Ken) Jahn and Elton & Debbie and by his nieces and nephews and their families. Don was a life long resident of the area and his work career began at the Faraday Uranium Mine until it closed. He then worked at Murray Brothers Lumber Company in Madawaska for a number of years and then started his own business, Neuman Septic Service, which he owned and operated, with the great help of his son, Joel, for almost 30 years. Don's incredible generosity and kindness will be long remembered by everyone who knew him and will remain as his legacy. His annual pig roasts became a huge event for those lucky enough to secure an invitation! His love of hunting, fishing, being at the trailer and caring for his property was only outshadowed by his love for his children, grandchildren and extended family. Don's family wish to extend their heartfelt thanks and gratitude to those incredible individuals who were at Don's side almost daily to allow him to remain in his own home and tend to the chores that were in need of being done. An incredible man with a huge heart for everyone he cared for....may he now breathe freely and rest easily!
