Brett Reeves (retired O.P.P. Constable), passed away peacefully with his family by his side, following a short battle with cancer, on Sunday, April 4, 2021 at Quinte Healthcare Belleville General at the age of 71 years. Brett was the son of the late Doug & Marjorie Reeves, loving husband of Gail, devoted father of Ian (& Alexise) of Whitby and Kerry (& Cory) Easton of Bancroft. He was a very proud Poppa to his two grandchildren, Alexis & Brody Easton. Brett is survived by his younger brother, Glenn (& Margie) Reeves of Shannonville, by his mother in law, Evelyn (& the late Roy) Yuill of Perth and by his brothers & sisters in law: Lynn (& Brian) Cameron of Kanata, Freda (& Harold) Maloney of Bancroft and Laurie (& Tammie) Yuill of Stittsville and he will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Brett joined the Ontario Provincial Police in 1974 and proudly served in the Detachments of Red Lake and Bancroft before retiring in 2002. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Brett was a Boston Bruins fan all of his life. He also enjoyed his daily morning visits to Timmies during his retirement. We will all miss his homemade meals and storytelling and we will even miss his annoying moose calls! You will be forever loved and missed Brett, Bretski, Dad & Poppa!!
