Obituary for Ann (Lorena) Byrd

A Life Well Lived. Lorena Ann Byrd passed away on September 6th at North Hastings Hospital in her 86th year surrounded by her family. Lorena was the daughter of late Alice and James Templeton. Beloved wife of her loving husband and life partner Robert “Bob” Byrd. They would have been blissfully married for 64 years on September 8th. Dear Mother of Ann Machan-White (Garry) of McArthurs Mills, June Byrd-Johnston (Kevin) of Gunter. Grandmother of her one and only cherished grandchild; Adam Machan of Guelph. She is predeceased by her brother, William Victor Templeton (Evelyn).
Lorena enjoyed her many years at Mayo Lake, loving all creatures great and small, surrounded by nature’s beauty and the love and devotion of many wonderful friends. Lorena’s strong will to live, her faith, and the love and prayers of family and friends carried her through many years of poor health.
The family have decided to hold a private Celebration of Life Service due to current restrictions. If interested in attending contact Ann Machan-White for specifics so provincial restrictions can be adhered to. Interment at Carlow United Church Cemetery.
If desired, Memorial Donations to her beloved church, Carlow United Church, Boulter, Ont.
Love bears all things believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
